Meet the Star-Studded Lineup:
Brennan Reece (MC):
This multi award-winning working-class wordsmith is known for his infectious energy and razor-sharp wit. Brennan Reece is a comedy force to be reckoned with. Winner of the prestigious English Comedian of the Year, Best show winner at Perth Fringe, and Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee, Brennan has been captivating audiences with his unique take on life and absurd observations. Buckle up for a rollercoaster ride of laughter with this comedic maestro who will be this evenings MC.
Lorna Rose Treen:
A rising star in the comedy world, Lorna Rose Treen is not just funny; she's a comedic powerhouse. Her solo show Skin Pidgeon was rated Top 5 Comedy Show of 2023 by The Telegraph. With a quick wit and charming delivery, Lorna has garnered quite a following on her Tiktok. Winner of quite a lot of awards like Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe, Chortle Awards’ Best Newcomer, Funny Women Awards Stage Award, - be prepared for a night of laughter as she shares her unique take on life's quirks and absurdities.
Rhys James:
A master of observational humor and a veteran of the comedy scene is the evenings headliner. You might have seen him on ‘Roast Battle’ (Comedy Central), ‘Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central’ (Comedy Central), ‘A League of Their Own’ (Sky One) and ‘Live At The Apollo’ (BBC Two) and as a regular panellist on ‘Mock The Week’ (BBC Two). He has performed six solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim, with his 2019 show ‘Snitch’ being one of the best reviewed comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Spring Day:
As seen on Live at the Apollo, Spring Day brings a fresh and vibrant perspective to the stage. With a name that is not as uplifting as her comedy, Spring’s uniquely acerbic and sassy style of comedy is always a crowd pleaser, or shocker... A fluent Japanese speaker and a mild cerebral palsy haver, Spring began her career headlining at the Tokyo Comedy Store whilst based in Japan. She has written, produced, directed and performed seven solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also written for and appeared in BBC Three sitcom Jerk.
